Recipe for making GulabJamun:


Ingredients :
  • White bread slices - 7
  • Milk - as required
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • half lemon juice
  • 4 cardamom
  • Water - 1 cup
  • few mix dry fruits - chopped
  • ghee - for frying
Sugar syrup recipe:
  • firstly, in a wide pan take 1 cup of Water.
  • further, to that add 1 cup of Sugar and get to a boil.
  • then simmer for 4 minutes till the sugar syrup turns slightly sticky. 
  • Now add lemon juice to stop crystallization process and also add 4-5 cardamom, cover and keep aside.
Bread gulabjamun recipe:
  • Chopped few dry fruits and cut the sides of 7 bread slices. 
  • Furthermore, blend to fine powder like breadcrumbs. 
  • Now add 1 tbsp of Ghee, Crumble and mix well. 
  • Slowly add warm milk little by little and knead to a smooth and soft dough. 
  • Furthermore, make small balls stuff with dry fruits mix ,make sure there are no cracks on balls. 
  • Heat the oil or ghee on low flame to medium flame and when the it is moderately hot, fry the gulabjamuns. 
  • Fry the balls on low flame stirring in between and fry till the balls turns golden brown. 
  • Now immediately, drop the hot gulabjamuns into hot sugar syrup. 
  • Boil the sugar syrup for a minute after you add fried gulabjamuns. 
  • Cover the lid and rest for at-least 2 hours. 
  • After 2 hours Bread Gulabjamuns have doubled in size.
