Veg Keema (Kheema) Masala (वेज खीमा मसाला) is one of the most popular vegetarian main-course dishes I
• 1 Finely 2 tbsp Ghee(घी)
• 2 Chopped onion (बारीक कटे प्याज)
• 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste (अदरक और लहसुन का पेस्ट)
• chopped capsicum (बारीक कटी शिमला मिर्च)
• 3/4 Cup tomato puree (टमाटर प्युरे)
• 2 tbsp Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर)
• ¼ tbsp Turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
• 1/2 tbsp Garam masala (गरम मसाला)
• Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार )
• 1/2 Cup boiled and finely carrot (उबला और बारीक कटा गाजर )
• 1/2 Cup boiled and finely chopped beans (उबला और बारीक कटी हरी फली )
• 1/2 Cup boil peas (मटर)
• 1/2 Cup water (पानी)
• 100 gm Grated paneer (कसा हुआ पनीर)
• Some grated cheese (कसा हुआ चीज)
• Some chopped green coriander leaves (हरी धनिया)
• Half lemon juice (आधा नींबू का रस)
For garnishing:
• Some grated cheese (कसा हुआ चीज)
• Some chopped green coriander leaves (हरी धनिया)
• In a pan, heat ghee.
• Add the onions and sauté them for 2 minutes.
• Add the ginger and garlic paste
• Add the finely chopped capsicum,
• Add the tomato puree and let it cook for at least 2 minutes
• Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala, salt.
• Now add boiled mix veg (peas, chopped carrot and beans)
• Add water and sauté the ingredients well, now cover and cook for 2 minutes.
• Add the grated paneer and then some grated cheese over it, mix all the ingredients well.
• Sprinkle some coriander leaves over the keema masala and mix well.
• The kheema masala is ready to be served.
• Squeeze half lemon.
• Garnish with some grated cheese and coriander leaves.
